Global Peace Festival 2008 in MALAYSIA !!!

Wooo.....Yesterday i attended the Global Peace Festival in Bukit Angkasa, PJ, Malaysia. Global Peace Festival is a international event in cooperation with IUSA(International University Students Assembly) and CAP(Collegiate Ambassadors for Peace) that shares a common vision for national unity and social integration. The Festival is a platform for us to share our ideas and endeavours. The main objective and mission is to build a model of unity and peace in Malaysia. Furthermore, we learnt to foster national unity, social integration, culture, cooperation and strengthen Family & Marriages.

GPF 2008 Theme : "Let`s Make Malaysia the World Capital of Peace"

The event starts at 8am, registration and group-dividing come first, followed by "Gotong-royong" at the Bukit Angkasa Residential Area. I was elected to work in group 33 and block 19. We cleaned the block 19 and painted the 1st floor with greenish blue. We had a tea-time at 11.30pm and continue to work until around 1pm.

 Talking abt my gp member, my leader is.....hrmm....sorry abt tat....i just can call U Mr.Anonymous, he is studying mechanical engineering in UM, that`s wat i can recall back....so sorry...haha..We have volunteer who come from UTAR, TARC, UPM, UPNM and UM in my gp...I think we have some from other private college and local University also...

1 to 2pm, we enjoyed our lunch and the performance started at around 2.30pm...Volunteer from different country went to the stage and performed their own cultural show..i heard we hav some come from Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong and lots more.

3pm....Daniel Lee..Malaysia Idol come to join us for this peace event...frankly he is kinda short...but handsome enuf....Last time i saw him in Danga Bay 2 years ago...until now...i think he didnt has much difference and "increment"...keke....but of cos...he is much more handsome than me ~~_@ and he sings quite nice....

4pm....the founder of GPF Dr. Hyun Jin Moon arrived and join us...Speech and Briefing...He told us the mission and vision of this international event..We left Bkt.Angkasa aroung 4.30pm...Nice Event Nice Festival..
