Yoyo...Sorry for not updating my blog recently due to network problem in my hostel...This time i would like to share my experience for participating in AIESEC CREATE 08' Workshop..
Last Saturday n Sunday, I went to UKM(University Kebangsaan Malaysia) for the CREATE Workshop..
Firstly, AIESEC is the world`s largest student organization and it is a international platform for student activities and student exchange programme. CREATE is an exchange-based project which aims to explore creative world through technology.
We went to UKM early in the morning...Wake Up at 5.30AM and prepare everything..."Walk" down from 10th College in UM to University LRT...the Rapid KL service damn sucks...no bus btw 6 to 7AM..It is abt 4km and abt 30mins++....siez...
After that we took Kelana Jaya line to KL Sentral n headed to UKM by KTM Komunter..When we reached the engineering faculty in UKM is abt 9.30AM...and the workshop start at 10AM...luckily...didnt came late...but we r the last group went in...
As usual, Ice breaking la and think of ur cheers la...the 1st lecture was "Creativity" conducted by Akos R.Wetters from Netherlands..and the 2nd one was "Advertising" conducted by Sudev Bangah...both were boring enough...haihz...I just thinking of the lunch when they were talking..Aiyo..laparlar...Belum buka puasa ni...Allahamdulilah...
Hopefully, I learnt sth meaningful in the afternoon section...which is "Cinematography" given by Hassan Abd Muthalib(Local Director of Sang Kancil and Susuk)..the lecture taught us abt the indirect meaning of a movie...eg:Long shoot meaning for "-ve" and close shoot meaning for "+ve", films in black n white meaning for "-ve" and films in colour meaning for "+ve" and a lot more..For sure, i make new fren there, he is Ivan come from Sarawak studying mechanical engineering in UKM, nice fellow...

Besides that, a local photographer Edward Christopher D`Silva taught us abt "Photography"...when u want to capture a picture u must divide the pic into 3 parts and it is called Rule of 3..special technique to improve our skill..
Climax coming, we enjoy a buffet in Danau Golf Club in UKM..the buffet is so so great...it is absolutely a "feast" that out of my expectation...Genting is the main sponsor and followed by Microsoft..so u know la...the food is above the standard..haha..this was the most memorable during the Workshop..

We were living in Pendeta Zaba...the latest college in UKM...haha...Physically it is quite nice but i prefer my college (1oth Coll Gambateh Gambateh hohoho....). Actually UKM is quite nice based on thier facilities and it is huge compared to UM...UKM even has its own golf club, stadium and a breathtaking lake...haha...our government like no way to spend money...building stadium inside University...just kidding la...

On 2nd day, we learnt Graphic Designing, Making Silverlight(sth like flash) and Web Designing...we learnt the basic stuff and have some basic concept on it...Overall, it is a cool workshop that we can learn sth different from the experienced trainer n speaker there..thx CREATE 08' thx AIESEC thx UKM...

Hey Frederick.
我随手google了一下,就连来你写create的文章。
那几天没和UM的朋友聊上几句,除了在第二天玩电脑时同班的Terrence,呵呵……
对了,你参加那个比赛吗?
